Libreville, Gabon — since 2005

Gabonese sanitation and youth, taken seriously.

ASI-ONG designs and runs concrete programs in sanitation, public health, plastic circular economy, and support for young leaders, serving the neighborhoods of Libreville and beyond.

Our mission

We believe that cleaning up a neighborhood and building its youth's future are part of the same work.

From Akébé-Plaine, ASI-ONG builds local, lasting solutions: household waste collection, transforming plastic into useful materials, training young leaders, community radio outreach, and health support for families.

Every program is designed to outlast the funding that launched it: that is what distinguishes a one-off intervention from real change.

ASI-ONG operates across the whole of Gabon (urban, rural, riverine, and prison settings) and also runs international initiatives, notably in Burkina Faso, where the association has been authorized to operate since 2012.

President's Message

Dear members, partners, and supporters,

As this new year begins, I address each of you with deep gratitude and renewed enthusiasm. The dawn of a new year is always a special moment: it invites us to take stock of our past actions, and above all to look ahead with boldness and determination.

Today, the challenges our world faces are immense. Social precarity, humanitarian vulnerability, and environmental emergencies remind us every day how closely our fates are linked. Nothing that touches humanity and the planet can leave us indifferent.

It is precisely at the heart of this reality that the mission of the NGO Action Sociale Internationale (ASI-ONG) takes on its full meaning.

As this new year begins, I issue a vibrant call to mobilize all our strength: to our members, the beating heart of our organization, whose energy and dedication drive our impact; to our partners, whose trust and strategic, financial, and technical support are the pillars of our collective success.

"Social and humanitarian action is not simply a response to emergency; it is a deep investment in human dignity and the preservation of our common home."

Let us commit together, starting today, to making this year a period of exceptional impact. Let us turn every one of our projects into a haven of hope for the most vulnerable and a concrete act for the safeguarding of our entire planet.

May our collective determination be the light that guides those who need it most. I wish you all a wonderful and fruitful year, marked by solidarity, hope, and action.
